Proverbs 31:
She seeks wool and flax,
and works with willing hands. verse 13
She makes bed coverings for herself;
her clothing is fine linen and purple. verse 22
She makes linen garments and sells them;
she delivers sashes to the merchant. verse 24
She looks well to the ways of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness. verse 27
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands,
and let her works praise her in the gates. verse 30-31
She is fruitful and gives of herself to her family and others. She uses the skills that God has given to her. She fears the LORD and is worthy to be praised. Oh, that we each would weave such a life from the gifts You have given to us, Father. May we honor You in all we do and in all we are. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
